EORI number
To enter an international trade, you should start with applying for a GB EORI. The Economic Operator Registration and Identification number allows HMRC to recognize your business in the customs systems. EORI is needed for all exports and imports from and to UK.
CDS
From 1st November 2022 , the UK has moved to new customs system CDS. All importers in the UK should be registered in the new system, it allows importers to check: on – line Import PVA Reports It gives an option to set up a cash account for payments to HMRC If an entity has their own deferment account, please remember to authorize your customs agent to operate on your behalf.
